Key initiatives have been developed to increase the number of clinical trials available to patients, to raise the percentage of patients participating in clinical trials, and to ensure that clinical trials are available in all the clinics. The opening of the new Wendell Cherry Institute for Clinical Trials is a prime example of the commitment the James Graham Brown Cancer Center has made in the area of clinical research. The institute will enhance recruitment of new investigators, which will allow for continued growth in this area.
